I’m Vidura Dias Abayagunawardana, a Sri Lankan poet, lyricist, broadcaster, and critic based in Helsinki. Vithuda is my literary home: poetry, lyrics, essays, scripts, and reflections on culture, current affairs, belief, belonging, and everyday life. Rooted in Sinhala and shaped by over 30 years of storytelling, my writing looks beyond borders and familiar certainties—to question what we accept, notice what we overlook, and explore what connects us as human beings.
